Florida Hospital Physician Group - Part of the Adventist Health System is currently looking to hire a certified coding auditor.
Experienced CPMAs and newly credentialed CPMAs with coding experience are encouraged to apply.
*The Coder/ Internal Auditor is responsible for the financial policies of Florida Hospital by assuring accurate coding and medical records documentation to providers in the individual practice locations.
*The Coder/ Internal Auditor will perform periodic chart audits to ensure the coding is at the appropriate level and that abstract information is entered in order to capture all services rendered to the patient.
*The Coder/ Internal Auditor will serve as a resource to physician practices within the Enterprise and will provide coding support and on-going education on coding and documentation expectations. Auditor is responsible for providing one on one training/education and feedback to physicians based on findings of internal audits.
