Wiki Audit of infusion services

Does anyone who has done this type of audit have a good template for what to review? I imagine CPT/ICD-9 codes, start and stop times documented, type of drug/substance infused, proper # of units, med necessity. Anything I am forgetting?

I'll be honest with you, auditing infusions for my facility is very easy because we have a template built within our electronic system that requires all of this information and is easily viewable on one screen. It does not seem like you are forgetting anything. Just make sure you are verifying the hierarchy!

Thanks Andrew - actually I did forget about the hiearchy. I was only asked to review chemo infusions, but can't forget that part as well.
