True Blue
Hello all ASC Ob/Gyn coders,
was planning a 58558 (hysteroscope w/ D&C)
patient was dilated scope was inserted and noted in the intraperitoneal, bowel and fat were seen w/ scope; and therefore, the scope was removed
Patient was then prepped for laparoscope to check injury which showed no bleeding. Bladder was filled w/ methylene blue solution to make sure of no bladder injury. Hysteroscopy and endometrial currettings was not pursued.
would you only bill 49320 or 58558-74 and 49320? Any thoughts?
