I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Patient was scheduled for an Essure procedure but provider noted: Diagnostic hysteroscopy during the attempted Essure procedure but unable to perform the procedure secondary to non-visualization of fallopian tubes therefore the hysteroscopic sterilization was aborted. Fallopian tubes were not able to be visualized on the left and it was questionable on the right therefore an attempt at passing the Essure device was not carried out.
I am debating to bill out 58565 with modifier 52 or 53 with Dx V25.2 or 58555 with Dx V25.2 which probably not be covered.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
