I need some input on what CPT code we would use.
Our Dr. attempted to place a manometry probe, but could never enter the esophagus. He performed it in the hospital outpatient setting. We normally see manometry reports that the Dr has read, and bill 91010-26.
Not sure what code to use in this instance, since he tried to place the probe himself. I also don't find a code for tube placement without fluoroscopic guidance.
Would we use 91010-26,53?
