Wiki Associated sign and symptoms in HPI

I always get this question while capturing HPI elements. my question is - Is it necessary that Associated sign and symptoms must be related to CC..?

for example
Pt complains of Leg pain due to fall, patient denies SOB, Chest pain can we consider SOB/ Chest pain as associated sign and symptoms ?

any help will be appreciated

ASSOCIATED signs/symptoms

Since the title of the element is associated signs/symptoms I feel that they must be somehow related to the chief complaint.

In this case I suppose someone could argue that the physician was concerned with the cause of the fall which resulting in the leg injury ... in that case I could see stating that SOB and chest pain are associated. However, I'd expect a more clearly defined logical tie-in.
