Wiki ASC reimbursement on UB

I hope someone can answer this question. My Office Manager was recently told that if we bill our ASC claims on a UB that our reimbursement is reduced compared to if we bill the ASC claims on a HCFA. Ive always been told that ASC claims unless Medicare or ahcccs(medicaid) get billed on UB, IF medicare and ahcccs then we bill these on HCFAs. Does any one know the answer to this question or a website that I can go to.

Reimbursement is based on your contracted fee amounts. I've not heard of reductions based on claim form (CMS1500 vs UB). I would question your office manager's source further.
