Dr. performed an internal hemorrhoidectomy using Ligasure. After researching Ligasure it is some type of thermal energy...so looking at code 46930? Any suggestions?

In the CPT publication CPT Changes An Insider's View - 2009 it talks about the changes to these HEMORRHOID codes. "Code 46930 (Destruction of internal HEMORRHOID(s) by THERMAL energy (eg, infrared coagulation, cautery, radiofrequency)], has been added to report various THERMAL energy destruction procedures for HEMORRHOIDs.
