Wiki ASC cancelled procedure at pre assessment

Free standing ASC: at pre assessment it was determined that the patient could not continue for procedure and extensive work up was done including EKG taking 45 minutes with this patient. He refused to be transfered by ambulance to hospital.
Is there anything we can charge for all this time spent with this patient?
 
you can charge a facility visit level but you must have a facility assessment tool to use to assess the level of the visit. For facility it cannot be based on time. you can also charge for the EKG.
