Could someone please give input for codes for the following: Punctured right common femoral artery. Wire and ultraflush catheter placed at L1-L2 level in aorta. We shot aortogram. Following this, we also shot an angiogram of the bilateral iliacs. We then placed a catheter over the wire into the left common femoral artery, withdrew wire and shot an angiogram in stations of the left lower extremity.
How is the aortogram and then angiogram of the bilateral iliacs coded?

Findings; Patent aorta and bilateral renals
Patent bilateral common, external and internal iliac arteries
Patent common femoral, SFA, Profunda, popliteal on the left
Diseased tibials and peroneal artery on the left

I would code for this scenario as 36246,75625 & 75710.

Here eventhough the angiogram of the bilateral iliacs has been performed,there is no documentation for femoral arteries on right,but had documentation for iliac arteries & femoral arteries on left which are patent.Hence whenever coding for bilateral lower extremities,need to check for iliacs as well as femoral arteries.Then coming to abdominal angiogram,need to check for the aorta & the visceral arteries.
