I'm curious to know if any ENT clinics out there are billing for VEMP testing, cpt 92700 (unlisted).
With the very recent FDA approval, I am anxious to start billing. I am wondering if anyone is running into denials due to "investigational" or "experimental" reasons. I'm not really finding much of any info online, and the insurance companies I've spoken to aren't being much help either. I'm getting a lot of "call for pre-cert", or since it's billed unlisted that they won't give any sort of answer until they have the claim & documentation in hand.
Any advise from people already billing for this would be very helpful. Thank you!
