What code would you use for an arthroscopic anterior labrum repair without a capsulorraphy? My doc billed 29806 but mva ins denied stating a capsulorraphy was not performed. I advised to bill unlisted code comparing it to 29806 but he disagrees. Now I have to appeal to insurance but can not find any concrete evidence that supports 29806.
