I have a patient that has medicare. Doctor wants me to bill for:
G0439 - Subsequent AW visit - which is correct. So the question I have for this is what are the requirements to bill
G0101 - Pap
G0436 - Tobacco cessation- doc did document time spent talking about this.
*G0442 - Alcohol screening
*G0447 - Counseling for Obesity
*From what we understand based on the info we found you have to spend 15 min EACH talking about it? Or can she bill for each because she wants to screen the patient for alcohol abuse. And talked to the patient regarding obesity, but didn't spend 15 min talking about it.
We are rather confused on the guidelines when billing these out, its my first time seeing them. Please help!
