I am trying to teach myself anesthesia coding. I am confused by the modifer QK and QX. The QK states a qualified individual who is medically directing 2 to 4 concurrent procedures. My question is what is the definition of "QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL" QX states a medically directed CRNA my question on that modifer is "DIRECTED BY WHO?" I would appreciate any help.
