Question. We have providers applying AmnioCore Grafts (Q4294) to a colectomy (laparoscopic), CPT code 44204. Is there a CPT code for the application of the AmnioCore graft, or is this inclusive to the procedure? Any assistance would be great.

15271-15274:
These codes are used for applying skin substitute grafts to the trunk, arms, and legs.
  • 15271: First 25 sq cm or less of wound surface area.
  • 15272: Each additional 25 sq cm or part thereof (list separately in addition to 15271).
  • 15273: First 100 sq cm wound surface area, or 1% of body area of infants and children.
  • 15274: Each additional 25 sq cm or part thereof for wounds larger than 100 sq cm (list separately in addition to 15273).
