Wiki Allowable ICD-9

Can anyone tell me where I can find a complete list of allowable diagnosis codes for each procedure? I have a coding companion for our specialty however it only lists the most used diagnosis and I would like a complete list to reveiw. Is there such a list? If so where can I find it? Thanks so much for any and all help.

What insurance company do you want this for? Medicare has their LCD and NCD which lists the allowable ICD codes. You can look on insurance websites for their policies. Unfortunately since each company determines what they will cover and why, I don't know of any one place to find the information you want.

Thanks for the information, I was looking for the Medicare information as most of the insurance companies we deal with are Medicare or Medicare replacement plans. Can I just view this information on the CMS web site?
