If pt is coming in for a recheck of calcific tendinitis and it has resolved, what would I code? Since it has resolved I wouldn't want to code that but not sure what to do in place of it. ICD-9 we would have still coded the calcific tendinitis..Thank you!

Z09 for follow up is the code you use for surveillance of resolved conditions that no longer require treatment.
