Does anyone have knowledge on Advance directives? I was told that the question "Do you have an advance directive?" has to be asked by a certified person. Is that true, if so what type of certification is required? Also if a patient states they do have an advance directive is it illegal to mark their chart stating they do have one, if we do not have a copy in the patients chart?
