Do add-on codes ever require a 59 modifier? NCCI indicates certain add-on codes would require a modifier when billing with the proper primary code. Any clarification on this would be appreciated. Thank you.

if you have more than one add on for a specific encounter you might need a 59. It truely depends on the scenario, there is no absolute on this.
