Please Help I need information on how to bill for internal medicine physician visit while pt is in Acute Rehab unit of Hospital. Dx of pt are chronic conditions such as copd, diabetes.
Do I use pos 61 with these dx what CPT code do you bill 99231-99233 ?
I've searched every Medicare and googled this question I can't find anything
I found for 2208 supercode you 99231-99233 for pos 61 but then it also says use pos 21.
Please help the physician has listed SNF codes but that doesn't seem correct since she clearly indicates the patient is in Acute Rehab Unit of the hospital
