Wiki Acupuncture covered ICD-10 codes

I'm not sure if I have the latest NCD on 97810/97811 & 97813/97814. It used to be that M54.50 was covered. Now I believe it's M54.59 instead for chronic low back pain?

Hi there, the NCD covers M54.51 and M54.59. I don't believe the unspecified code was ever covered. However, M54.5 was covered until it was replaced with three codes in 2021.

CR12480: End date ICD-10 dx M54.5 effective 9/30/2021.
Add ICD-10 dx M54.51 and M54.59 effective 10/1/2021.
