I wanted to know what is ABN modifier?

Modifier GA indicates that the patient has signed an ABN.

Also GX says they signed a voluntary issue of waiver of liability.

When Medicare denies a charge with modifier GA as non-covered, they *are supposed to* process it as patient responsibility rather than contractual obligation or other adjustment.
