Can anyone tell me if there is a coding job out there that doesn't have a high production rate? I'm finding it a real challenge to be both 95% accurate and at 36 CPH. If there was a job that focused on spending a great deal of time reading through a patient's chart, history, etc. and there wasn't this high production rate of 36, I feel I would love that job a lot. I watched a YouTube channel where the woman said she does HCC Risk Adjustment coding and her threshold is 95% accuracy but only at 13 CPH. Any help is appreciated!

Metrics are part of this field especially remotely.
The target CPH will vary by the type of chart (IP/OP/AI/single versus multi specialty), complexity of the encounters themselves and specific payer guidelines.

I have coded different projects and the CPH will vary in all of them.

You will get faster as you remember the codes and individual guidelines.

About the only place I can see some leeway with CPH is working for a small physicians office. However, then you will likely have a lot of interruptions with other job duties added. Not a great scenario either.
