Please help with ideas for Internal Medicine office and which routine procedures are billable? Thanks

Uh...

Blood pressure check, Diabetes Management...basically any procedure which has to be done in an office setting but does not require the physician to see the patient.

Also many of the services reportable under the Nurse visit are not across the board billable. Its important it must be under a documented plan of care. Blood Pressure checks is a good example of that since its not always reportable.

Basically as CodingKing said :

Your MD must have a documented reason for the visit though they do not necessarily have to be in the room. Check with your carriers your office takes to determine what they view as payable and what documentation is required from your MD.
