Wiki 99211 and 96523

Can I charge 99211, nurse visit, with 96523, blood draw PICC, if that is all they come in for? Any documentation would be appreciated.

Also, can I charge 99211 with chemotherapy if the nurses have an assessment form that they fill out and patient does NOT see the physician?

no when the patient comes to the office to recieve a pre determined service and this is performed by ancillary staff, then the assessment for this procedure has already been performed by the provider and the nurses work is part of the procedure you are charging for.
