In the following situation: a patient is in-hospital with CO poisoning or necrotizing fasciiitis (or something appropriate high risk) and receiving crit care and HBO therapy. Can you code the HBO therapy as a continuation of the crit care (same group) and thereby bill per 1/2 hour after the initial 99291 or do you have to bill 99183?
