I see this frequently in the physical exam -

RUE AV fistula with associated thrill

Would you count this as palp of skin in the multisys exam? What's tripping me up is that this really is more of a vascular exam. I'm beginning to think that I over-think these things! ;)

Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks! Kim

RUE AV (Right upper extremity arteriovenous) fistula is an abnormal connection or passageway between an artery and a vein. This will come under Cardiovascular Exam for 97 guidelines.

Thanks, Naveen. But which bullet under cardiovascular? Extremities for edema/varicosities? Nothing seems to fit right.

Even iam too confused but the only options i think is Extremities for edema/varicosities, and lets post it once again will see others opinions.
