I need some clarification:
CPT 96368 is not time based. So does that mean if a medication is running through the same IV site at the same time as another medication and they run concurrently for 2 hours (lets say they both ran from 10am to 12pm together), how can you charge appropriately for this?
96365 for one medication, first hour
96366 for additional hour of medication
96368 for the concurrent medication
BUT can you charge for another 96366 for the second hour of the second drug? Or no because it is not time based?
