This was pulled from a pediatric resource:

Code 96110 may be reported when (1) two different tests are administered, scored, and interepreted and/or (2) if just one tool (eg. Connor Scales) is adminstered to separte obsereves (eg. father/teacherr the same patient on the same date of service.

My question:

In our office teacher and parent scales are turned in and graded by a LPN/RN/CMA a couple of days before the childs initial ADD/ADHD appointment with our provider. When do we bill for the grading? When the provider reviews the results and sees the patient at the appointment? Or when the LPN/RN/CMA grades the scales and sets up an appointment?

Thank you,
Theresa

Our MD's evaluate and grade all of our questionnaires and are billed out at the time of the office visit.
