We had a patient come in for a food allergy patch reading & also for an environmental allergy injection.
Insurance is saying payment for 95044 is included in the payment for 95117.
I know we cannot bill 95165 the same day we test the patient as this is considered bundled antigens but does the same logic apply to a patch reading and an allergy injection?
I'm having a hard time locating guidelines regarding bundling of antigens.
