Hello All,
Need your expertise on these two procedure codes; what is the documentation should be noted to bill these each one.
There is an mutually exclusive edit on these two procedures.
Per guideline, it is very limited condition that these two can be billed together.

I wouldn't bill both for the same DOS. There are newer considerations which need to be taken into account. These are is the test you want to do reasonable and appropriate to do and what would make it reasonable and appropriate to do both tests the same day. IMHO, in the vast majority of cases, it isn't necessary to do both tests for the same diagnosis.

Hello, I am new to ophthalmology; I am still learning. For both CPT you have to have interpretation and an image. Since they are bundled together, we use OCT 92133/4 because it has a higher RVU
