Am I correct in saying that a 91 modifier cannot be added to a lab when we know the machine will not result if trig are below 45 and/or greater than 300. Our situation here is the result is NA then we send the specimen out to the reference lab and have them run the lipid panel because we know we will receive results on the entire panel.
