Hello.
I am looking for guidance on billing for the facility (outpatient). Is it appropriate to bill 77332-59 for the ERB insertion/supply each time the IMRT is completed (77386). Or is there another way to bill for the device. Does anyone have references for this situation? Any help appreciated.

From ASTRO guidance (and also AMAC) the rectal balloon would be billed 1 time per course of treatment during simulation as a 77334--it cannot be billed daily even though it is disposable. The additional advice was to negotiate with your payor for a supply code reimbursement for the balloon material itself on a daily basis.
