Hello,

Has anyone dealt with the situation of billing 77336 but after the pt has passed away. Pt did receive 5 treatments. Insurance is denying due to the date of the 77336 being after the pt passed away. Appreciate any input. Thanks
 
You would code 77336 to the 5th of a 5 fraction week, or if the final week of treatment it is only billable if that week contains minimum 3 fractions.
Entire course of care must be minimum 3 fractions to bill 77336.
What DOS are you coding the 77336 to?
