Wiki 71034 for heart cath's.

Hi, I just started coding for cath lab procedures. I've noticed that all of the heart cath's that went out before I got here had 71034 as a procedure. I went back and looked at the procedure notes and cannot see 71034 described. They do describe flouroscopy, but flouroscopy is inherent in all of the heart cath procedures, is it not? Has anyone else ever coded 71034 in addition to a heart cath procedure?

I've been in cardiology 5 years......never saw that code before.

That is not a code that can be coded for a cardiac cath. Fluoro is an inherent part of a cath procedure.
