Wiki 59 modifier

we are billing a 99213 with 96372 and the injection. The insurance is paying the 96372 but denying the 99213 as conent. Would the 59 modifier work?

No, if the documentation supports the 99213 along with the injection then you would use modifier 25 ont he 99213.

No, you wouldn't put a -59 on the office visit. If the documentation supports it you would use a -25 modifier to show it is a separate and billable service.
