The bladder was entered and there was a large well formed clot with some adherent calcifications. There was some associated inflammation around the base of the bladder, likely from the clot. There was no evidence of tumor or lesions. I then spent the remainder of the procedure breaking down the clot using initially a basket followed by a grasper to break down the clot. An 18-French coude catheter was then used to irrigate the clot free and on readvancement of the scope, the clot was otherwise extracted from the bladder with a small amount of debris remaining that could easily pass.
Not sure if I should use 52001 because that says evacuation of multiple clots.
