Wiki 44130 and 43644

Can somebody, please help me with this;

the surgeon performed; 1.Lap Roux-en Y gasric baypass
2.upper gastrointestinal

The surgeon billed 44130 and 43644;
I think that 44130 is inclusive into 43644, since anastomosis is inclusive in baypass surgery.

Any help is appreciated!

I usually code this as a 43644 only. Without seeing the op report, unless the physician dictates a specific seperate need for 44130, I would use just 43644. 43235 - EGD will also be global to your Roux -Y.
