Wiki 43259 plus 43251?

Dr. performed an EUS to evaluate a polyp vs. varix in the stomach. The EUS confirmed it was polyp, so he snared it. Since the purpose of the EUS was to evaluate the polyp/varix, would the "same site" rule apply here? Or, is it safe to bill both (with the appropriate modifier)?

I think it's ok to go ahead with the appropriate modifier. The two codes are ok in the CCI edits.
