My understanding is that selective catheterization and angiography of rt common carotid then selective catheterization of vertebral artery would be coded 36223, and 36226 anyone agree or disagree. Im having trouble with blue accepting this.

Selective catheterization of rt common carotid with imaging of the common would be 36222. Common carotid imaging is extracranial. Code 36223 would be cerebral imaging (distal internal carotid and other branches intracranially.
36226 would be correct for selection of the vertebral artery with imaging.
