Doctor wants me to code 29823 and 29826, But I would like opinions, please.
Arthroscopic evaluation of the glenohumeral joint was done through the posterior portal. Significant amount of bleeding in the joint was encountered and this was washed out.
The glenohumeral joint was seen to be free of any arthritic change.
The rotator cuff was seen to be completely normal without any adhesions remaining and without tears.
The anterior capsule was frayed, torn and this was debrided with the shaver.
The anterior labrum was seen to be solid
The scope was then withdrawn and was placed in the subacromial space.
Significant amount of adhesions were coagulated and shaved out.
The patient then left the OR in good condition and tolerated the procedure well, etc.
I am thinking just the 29823 ? Would appreciate any input. thank you
