I am having difficult determining if this is SLAP procedure and what correct code would be.
Physician stating procedure and arthroscopic anterior superior labral repair.
Report states diagnostic arthroscopy revealed no wear on glenoid or humeral head. Pt had anterior-superior labral tear as well as a biceps tear. Treated with an upbiting basket to release biceps from its origin, shaver to debride it back to stable tissue. Anterior-superior labrum was repaired with labral Tape passed around anterior-superior labrum with crescent lasso, securing it to anterior-superior glenoid rim with pushlock suture anchor....... attention was then turned to the open biceps tendonesis.....
