My Physician did surgery on a patient who was still in global for a TKR who had dehiscred infection. Dr. performed a resectional/incisional arthroplasty - cement arthroplsty (antibiotic impregnated right knee). Intraoperative frozen section. Also, a Synovectomy was performed, but I am pretty sure that this is inclusive with the other procedure. Which codes would be used? 27488, 27486 or would I use the unlisted code 27599 and is there any code ofr the frozen section??? Thanks?!!
