DX: Loose body incarcerated in scar tissue superior aspect of a previous lateral release with mechanical popping.

Procedure: Mini open scar revision and excision of 1 cm x 1 cm loose body incarcerated in the lateral aspect of the suprapatellar pouch

A 3 cm incision was made over the palpable mass/loose body superolateral to the patella. I was able to spread down to the superior margin of the lateral release. There was a 1 cm x 1 cm cartilaginous loose body that was incarcerated in the tissue in this region, causing some mechanical popping. This was excised. There was also scar tissue in this region that was debrided as well. This was then closed with 1 simple knot figure-of-eight and inverted 2-0 Vicryl sutures subcutaneously and skin staples for the skin. The knee was injected with a total of 20 cc of 0.5% Marcaine with epinephrine, 50 mg of Demerol, and 30 mg of Toradol for postoperative pain management. A sterile, mildly compressive dressing was applied. He was extubated and taken to the recovery room in stable condition.

I don't see a arthrotomy made....27372 rather 27331?

Thanks!
Jamie
