Does anyone know when the Agenda will be available for the conference in Orlando? I cannot register for the conference or reserve a room until the Agenda is available. I am afraid I will miss the early bird rate and not get a room....

Based on past years, I'd estimate it should be available in early to mid November.

For 2024 Healthcon, the full agenda was released on November 15th.
For 2023 Healthcon, the full agenda was released on November 10th.

(I rarely delete old emails - sometimes my digital clutter comes in handy when I can search my inbox for this type of information.) 😊

BTW - since it's October chapter election season, I'll put a general reminder out there for everyone that Chapter Officers get a significant discount on Healthcon registration.

If you're a current chapter officer for 2024 or running for chapter officer in 2025, be sure to take advantage of that! (Registration needs to be purchased during your active term in office. If you're a 2024 officer who won't be serving in 2025, be sure to claim your discount by 12/31/2024.)

Thank you, Susan, for your reply and the information :) I am a hoarder of emails too :)

I didn't know that we could! I figured that we'd just show up to the ones we want to go to if they're not an additional fee or just for chapter members. I'm a total newbie.

You'll want to register for the sessions that you plan to attend. Some sessions get full, so only people registered for that session can be admitted to the room. Rooms have capacity limits that must be adhered to for fire codes.

You'll want to download the AAPC Conferences app to your phone - that's how they'll check to see if you're registered for a particular session. Also, there are announcements pushed out through the app and a chat wall where you can interact with other attendees. (During the conference, you'll often see attendees post on the chat wall looking for other people to network in their specialty or looking for someone who is interested in doing a particular evening activity.)

AAPC will send an email out to all attendees with general information and instructions, like downloading the conference app and that sort of thing. It's usually sent out at least a month or two before the conference.

I'd also suggest attending the Healthcon Rookies - Learn the Ropes sesson, because that will also help fill you in on what to expect while you're there. If I'm not mistaken, I think Alex is usually the one who runs that session, and everyone always loves to meet AAPC Alex too. :)
