Wiki 2024 test

I am getting ready to take my test. How long do they give you, how many questions and is it still multiple choice? Any pointers would be helpful!!!!! Thank you in advance.
For the CPC exam? I just took mine in September and based on the website it hasn't changed much this year: it's 4 hours, with 100 multiple-choice questions. Definitely recommend using the AAPC study guide and the practice exams to study, I passed first try by using them. Good luck! https://www.aapc.com/certifications/cpc

Yes the CPC. I have been doing the AAPC! Thank you! I am on my last chapter and wanted to get an idea of how it is.

Definitely do the practice test, if you have not purchased them, do so before you take your test. Make sure that you time yourself (I believe they are 50 question tests, so allow yourself 2 hours ), look at the rationale on every question, even the ones you get correct. Add notes in your books, highlight things to help you narrow down a code- example: if a procedure has both an open and a lap approach, highlight the approach- If there is a code first or combo code, highlight that too.. Tab the sections in your books, If you think that you will need to refer to medical term, anatomical illustrations, modifiers...etc., write down the pages that those sections start on. You got this ! Good Luck !!
