What is your dx? and does it support the surgery. That is the important question.

No, it doesn't have to be dx as cancerous. Just as long as the dx supports the procedure, such as a large fibroid or suspicious growth, not yet determined to be cancerous. I spoke with my plastic surgeon to get confirmation of this.
