Can we bill using codes 19301 & 14000 if the surgeon states in his OP report that he closed by using oncoplastic flap rotation with a segment resection. (see copied paragraph)
The wound was then copiously irrigated with normal saline and, after hemostasis and nerve blocks, it was closed by using oncoplastic flap rotation. Numerous 3-0 Biosyn and 4-0 Biosyn sutures were used interrupted and continuously to close the large defect without tension. The subcutaneous fascia was closed with continuous 4-0 Monocryl and then the skin was closed with 4-0 Monocryl subcuticular with excellent cosmetic
results.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
