I'm new. Need help coding an I&D followup. ICD-9 is 682.9. The patient comes back weekly for "packing." So the original packing that was covered in the inital procedure is gone, and we re do it for the patient.

How should I go about coding this? Insurance is United Healthcare Community Plan (one of the 3 Kansas MCO's which replaced Medicaid on 1/1/12).

Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
