Wiki 1 time post op care by another MD

If doctor #1 performs the surgery, and doctor #2 (not in the same practice) who is on call for the #1 sees the patient for a routine post op care within the 90 day global period, can doctor #2 charge anything for this visit?

as long as they are in the same practice and are covering the answer is no

They are NOT in the same practice. Doc #2 just was covering for DOC#1 for a brief period and saw the pt only once.
